This course facilitates the learning of new concepts in work mechanization, developing the following skills:
- Scientists know the basics and the main technological aspects of manufacturing processes by removing material.
- Knowing the conventional machinery, current trends, tools and tooling used in the main machining processes.
- Capacity and practice for the selection and planning of machining processes.

- A better understanding of machine tools and machining processes common in a garage, as well as cutting data, developments and structural characteristics of the tools used.
- The location and description of the different benchmarks and necessary origins in a CNC machine, and the usefulness of these and their calculation if necessary.
